Super Exciting Super Munchkin

 

Mika's brother visited us yesterday evening and I quickly layed Super Munchkin cards in front of us. The game was extremely exciting and we were unable to avoid some noice, mainly shouting ;) For few last rounds we all had level 9 and tension was high. All special cards were used and hoped. In the end me and Mika were polite and let our guest to win...still...I am waiting for the encore game.

Movie Theme for a Week

On January me and Mika had our first official movie theme, as we watched movies by Arnold Schwarzenegger every day for a week. It was fun. And Arnold  really has several movies that I  enjoyed, even though in the beginning I started to laugh for the idea. But as I listed Terminators, Predator, Conan, Running Man etc. in my mind, I realized the week will not be a bad after all. And it wasn't

Arnold was a mutual decision. And before that we had an unofficial theme, as we watched many John Candy's flicks. But this time me and Mika listed three actors each, and had a lottery for the next movie theme. I picked one actor that Mika had listed - Denzel Washington. I wasn't disappointed when I read the name. I like Denzel and he surely has lot of charisma (don't care what you say brother).

So tomorrow our movie theme starts. I've already checked some movies that Denzel offers us, and I was surprised there is a comedy and a chich flick as well. Big decision, as there are only 7 movies we can choose :\

Elf's Head

As I said earlier, I started to create a head with Blender. Now that I look of it, it reminds more of a little orc's head rather than elf's. Unfortunately I have to leave this project until Monday, as I'm visiting my brother and his family for the weekend. Still I get to do some art during weekend, as I will draw a lot with my niece. Maybe we'll draw her favourite things - dinosaurs!

Word of the Day - Extrude

On Monday I downloaded a freeware modelling program, Blender. I googled lot of different programs, but decided to try this one out. And so far, I'm loving it :) It's completely different to model in 3D than to draw with normal 2D. But I've started to study this program with a youtube clips, and so far I like CGBoorman's videos the most. Now I'm at the point that I've started to create an elf''s head...vov.

T-Rex Birthday

Wow. I got to draw dinosaur into a birthday party. Earlier my workmates's daughter wanted a fox and a princess for the invitation cards, and now her son wants a DINOSAUR. I love when boys get into the dinosaur-age.
